My Course Reflection

I envisioned learning how to use a variety of technology resources and passing that knowledge to teachers for use in their lessons. I am glad that I had the opportunity to take this course and share information and resources with other teachers to keep them abreast of technology in the classrooms. I think that it is very important that educators continue to use technology resources in an effort to improve student learning. The only outcome I didn’t achieve was presenting my knowledge of technology at a faculty meeting but I plan to inform my colleagues of the importance of allowing digital age learners to use digital tools so that they may be successful in a modernized society.
I was successful carrying out the course assignments and had the opportunity to participate in a self-evaluation. I have learned that I need to continue to break out of my shell as it relates to facilitating professional developments. I plan to overcome my fears by taking it one step at a time and slowly build up my confidence to be able to successfully deliver a presentation on the advantages of using technology in the classroom.
